These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SupplierProof website and the supplier-verification reports made available through it (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Metacomic Private Limited("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is
SupplierProof compiles information about Indian businesses from public records — including filings with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) and the Goods and Services Tax (GST) network — accessed through licensed data providers, and presents it alongside an automated, AI-generated risk indicator. Reports are delivered on-screen and as a downloadable PDF.
2. Informational use only
Reports are provided for general information only to support your own due diligence. They are not legal, financial, tax, credit, or investment advice, and are not a recommendation to transact with or avoid any party. The AI risk score is an automated estimate, not a verified judgement. You are solely responsible for any decision you make.
3. Accuracy & source data
We source data from public records and third-party providers. We do not create or independently audit this data and cannot guarantee that it is accurate, complete, or current — public records are often delayed and may themselves contain errors. The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. Where a report notes that a record may be outdated, treat it accordingly.
4. Permitted use & your obligations
You agree that you will:
- use the Service only for a legitimate business purpose — such as vendor onboarding, due diligence, or contract evaluation;
- confirm, where prompted, that you have a lawful basis for the lookup under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law;
- not use the Service to harass, stalk, discriminate against, or cause harm to any individual;
- not scrape, resell, redistribute, or build a competing database from the reports; and
- not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
You are responsible for the queries you run and for your use of any report. Personal data about directors and signatories included in a report originates from public statutory filings.
5. Payments
Reports are paid for per lookup at the price displayed at checkout (currently ₹49 for a Snapshot and ₹149 for a Deep Report, inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise). Payments are processed by our third-party payment partner (Razorpay); we do not store your card details. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, its design, and the report format are owned by us. The underlying public-record facts are not owned by us. You receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use a purchased report for your own internal business purposes.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your reliance on a report or from inaccuracies in source data. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to a report is limited to the amount you paid for that report.
8. Changes & termination
We may update these Terms or the Service from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. We may suspend access for any user who breaches these Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at [registered-office city], India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
